Data amounts can influence your migration project – or even should, as they might determine the approach to be chosen for the migration process: The sheer amount of data to be migrated has implications for the complexity of the project and the methods to be applied.  

In some cases, it might make sense to migrate a whole system at once, whereas in other cases it might be useful to consolidate data from different projects into one target system step by step.
