Today, the power of automation has reached a pivotal point when it comes to making migrations successful. However, the human side, handling stress and coordination under pressure, determines whether a project truly succeeds or fails.
Let’s look at the missing part of the story. To shine a light on the experts who carry the weight of complex migrations and still find a way.
conemis Project Diaries are not polished case studies. They’re not scripted success stories designed to make everything look effortless. In this series, we aim to take you behind-the-scenes reflections from the people who play big part in our succesful migrations.
We’re giving a glimpse into the internal life of projects that usually stays inside meeting rooms, late-night calls, and go-live war rooms. By sharing it openly, we want to show how expertise, collaboration, and responsibility matter for every successful go-live.
At conemis, this series is our way of saying: this is what the work really looks like, and why experience under pressure matters.
This episode focuses on a global organization in the retail travel industry that set out to modernize its loyalty management platform. The goal was to migrate from Microsoft Dynamics to Salesforce Loyalty Cloud, using conemis transition cloud to support the migration.
The scope was significant:
The migration was executed on an on-premises deployment of conemis transition cloud, adding operational complexity. Mapping volumes were high, scope evolved continuously, and timelines remained tight throughout the project.
Close collaboration with Salesforce Professional Services UK / Central enabled fast decision-making during critical phases. Ultimately, the full scope was delivered within 5.5 months from deployment, not because the project followed a perfect plan, but because the teams adapted continuously as reality unfolded.
The video focuses on the most challenging moments of the project, particularly as go-live approached and pressure increased.
Our experts discuss how the final hours before launch introduced performance risks that required rapid, real-time decisions. They also explore what happens when earlier delays compress the UAT phase, forcing validation work closer to or even into production.
Rather than offering theory, the conversation provides an honest look at:
By watching the video, you get a chance to hear directly from the experts who were there, explaining how they assessed risk, worked with the customer, and ultimately delivered a stable go-live despite the odds.
